What data do we collect?
Long Covid Studies primarily collects data from users when users submit data via visible web forms, such as the filter form, the donation pages, and newsletter signup form. Other operational data, as listed above, is collected automatically via trackers placed on the pages of the website. A tracker also collects metrics when users click email links to research studies, but does not associate those clicks with individual users or studies. Long Covid Studies does not currently set any first-party cookies.
What are we doing with the data?
Long Covid Studies primarily uses the data we collect to support the full functionality of the website and ensure that it is working properly. We also use the data to monitor the reach and impact of the website. Contact information is used to send email newsletters, and donation information is used to process payments. We will not share or sell your data to third parties other than the service providers listed above or other services providers we use in the future. The data collected is currently stored in perpetuity.
